About
Your Story Isn’t Over
This Is Your Chapter 2
A Safe Place to Heal and Move Forward
Every woman’s story unfolds differently. Mine includes loss, faith, rebuilding, and ultimately healing
From My Heart to Yours
I never imagined my life would include divorce—especially not after 24 years of marriage.
Like many women, I built a life around commitment, faith, family, and doing the right thing. I expected marriage to be until “death do us part”, and when it wasn’t, the loss was deeper than I knew how to explain. Divorce didn’t just end a relationship; it quietly reshaped my identity, my faith, my finances, and my understanding of the future.
The Aftershocks No One Talks About
What surprised me most wasn’t the initial heartbreak—it was how long the aftershocks lasted.
Even years later, I found myself functioning well on the outside while carrying unresolved pain on the inside. I was moving forward but not fully healed. I loved God, yet parts of my heart were guarded. I trusted Him, but still wrestled with disappointment, fear, and unanswered questions.
Life Kept Moving
I was navigating motherhood in two very different seasons—raising one child still at home while releasing another into adulthood, marriage, and military service.
It was a season of pride, grief, joy, and letting go—all layered together.

When Healing Began
It was in this in-between place that God began to gently show me something important:
Healing isn’t about pretending the pain didn’t happen — It’s about allowing Him to meet me honestly in the midst of it
Real healing didn’t come from staying busy or being strong. It came when I allowed myself to slow down, face what still hurt, and invite God into the places I had learned to protect.
Why I Created Chapter 2 Woman
Chapter 2 Woman was created from a deep desire to offer other women what I once needed—a safe, faith-centered space to heal without shame, judgment, or pressure to “be over it.”
This is not a place to rehash the past or assign blame.
It is a place to release what no longer serves you and step into what God still has ahead.
I believe women in midlife deserve support that respects their maturity, honors their faith, and acknowledges the complexity of rebuilding life after divorce—emotionally, spiritually, and practically.
Chapter 2 Woman exists to walk alongside you as you heal, rebuild, and rediscover peace and purpose—not because you failed, but because your story is still unfolding.
What I Believe For You
- Your life is not defined by divorce
- Healing is possible, even if it’s taken longer than you expected
- God is not disappointed in you
- There is still purpose, meaning, and joy ahead
This season isn’t the end of your story.
It’s the beginning of something deeper, wiser, and more grounded.
With grace,
Vanessa Stewart
